There are a few reasons why an aircraft may not appear in Skycards
The aircraft is not visible on Flightradar24
Skycards uses flight data from Flightradar24. This means that an aircraft must be visible and actively tracked on Flightradar24 for it to appear in Skycards. There are several reasons why an aircraft may not appear on Flightradar24.
There may be a slight difference between Flightradar24 and Skycards
In some cases, due to technical reasons, there may be slight differences between the data displayed in Flightradar24 and Skycards. This means that an aircraft visible on Flightradar24 may not always appear in Skycards at the same time.
Unfortunately, this isn’t something that can be manually adjusted, but we’re continuously working to improve the experience and consistency between the apps.
There may be limited coverage in the area
Another reason could be limited Flightradar24 coverage in the area where the aircraft is flying. If you or someone you know is interested in improving coverage, you can contribute by joining our data-sharing network. Visit this page to learn how to participate using your own equipment or by applying for an FR24 receiver.
