GPS issues

GPS IS WEATHER PROOF AND NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED OUTSIDE

If you are having issues with GPS

 

  1. Make sure the GPS antenna is connected securely (see attached photos - photos only for one receiver type).
  2. Make sure the GPS antenna is exposed to the sky (window sill should be sufficient). You can move it around in order to find a good spot.
  3. Inspect the GPS puck and cable for any damages.
  4. Check that the GPS LED on the front of the receiver flashes green. An occasional red is Ok as well. Alternatively, dependent on the receiver type, check the screen for the GPS status.
