We prioritize civilian airports and selected locations. Check the locations where additional coverage is most needed per this link.
Applications from these locations are reviewed first, as they help improve tracking quality and coverage for the largest number of users. We may also prioritize installations in areas with limited existing coverage, high traffic volume, or other locations that are particularly valuable to the network.
While we welcome applications from anywhere in the world, we cannot guarantee that every application will be approved. Approval depends on several factors, including:
- Coverage needs in your area.
- The quality and suitability of the proposed installation location.
- Availability of receiver hardware.
If your application is not approved, don't worry - we'll keep it on file and may contact you in the future if our coverage needs change.
If your installation location changes, you're always welcome to submit a new application, as your new location may be a better fit for expanding the coverage.
Don't want to wait? You can also build your own ADS-B receiver using compatible hardware and start sharing data with Flightradar24 immediately. Once your receiver is online, you'll receive the same contributor benefits as other active data sharers, provided you meet the program requirements. Click here for more info how to build a receiver.
